As a Senior Facilities Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager in the delivery of a full facilities service including advising and implementing Health & Safety Requirements.
Summary of the duties:
Supervision of contractors and preparation of Risk Assessments
Conduct workstation assessments
Be responsible for Portable Appliance Testing (PAT testing) and dealing with basic level electrical work.
Be responsible for ensuring all Health & Safety related documentation and assessments are up to date.
Weekly fire alarm testing, organising fire drills and maintaining log book
Supervision of contractors and preparation of Risk Assessments
The ideal candidate will have:
A recognised Health & Safety Qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH)
Working knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk assessments, safe systems of work and DSE requirements.
Previous experience of working in a facilities maintenance and health & safety environment
