IPC-A-610 - How the Certification Programme Works

The IPC-A-610 training and certification programme has two tiers of instruction - Certified Trainers and Application Specialists.Candidates are sent by their companies to receive five days of training in the IPC-A-610 document at an approved certification training centre.Once they have completed the course, and have passed the examination, Trainers are then qualified to train their company’s workers in the IPC-A-610 Application Specialist training programme.This programme will greatly assist companies dedicated to ISO-9000 or other quality assurance initiatives. As the IPC specification is a widely accepted standard, this will have immediate recognition throughout the electronics industry.
