AP Technologies is a UK optoelectronics distributor supporting industrial, scientific, military, medical and hazard and threat detection applications for over 20 years. Based in the UK, we work as the trusted link between world-class component manufacturers and the engineers and researchers who need their technology to actually perform in the field.
Our range spans the full optoelectronics chain. On the sources side we supply LEDs and LED systems from UVC at 230nm right through to infrared, single and multimode laser diodes and modules from 266nm to 1900nm, and thermal blackbody IR emitters. On detection, we offer silicon photomultipliers, visible and NIR-enhanced silicon photodiodes, UV silicon photodiodes for spectrometry and x-ray detection, lead sulphide and lead selenide detectors, and multi-channel photon-counting and charge-integrating data acquisition systems.
We've also built strong capability in Time-of-Flight sensing, from ultra-compact direct-ToF modules to long-range indirect-ToF systems and high-accuracy 3D depth cameras, alongside liquid crystal optical components such as fast shutters, polarisation modulators and variable neutral density filters. Our spectrometer and light source range covers 180nm to 2500nm, supporting everything from Raman to deep-UV applications.
As UK and Ireland representatives for manufacturers including Broadcom, Silanna, Vertilon, SemiNex, QD Laser and OtO Photonics, among others, we bring genuine technical depth to every enquiry, not just a product list. Our team, led by Managing Director Martin Sharratt, regularly publishes technical articles on subjects from deep-UV spectroscopy to ToF camera integration, reflecting the level of engineering insight we bring to customer projects.
