Electromechanical limit switches
Electromechanical limit switches may be divided into two main categories: Those which are primarily concerned with detecting the presence, absence or passing of an object. These devices usually serve to provide input signals to an automation system of some kind. Power limit switches, whose contacts carry the main power to the process under control. These are termed 'series limit switches' and primarily fulfil a safety function (for cranes, heavy mechanical handling, etc).Visit the Burnand XH Ltd website for more information on Electromechanical limit switches
