Pressure and Vacuum Switches

These switches have been designed to regulate or control the level of pressure, or vacuum, in both pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Whenever the pressure or vacuum attains a pre-determined level (the switch setting level), the internal C/O snap-action contact changes state. As soon as this level reduces, by an amount greater than the differential of the switch, the contact will change back to its original state. Typical applications for pressure switches are - * To control the starting and stopping of compressor sets * To maintain a preset pressure within an air receiver or vessel * To ensure that lubricants or refrigerants are being pumped around a system * To limit overpressure in hydraulic systems, thus preventing physical damage * To stop machine operation due to loss of system pressure
