Old UPS batteries can't simply be thrown out, since they're classed as hazardous waste and have to be handled and disposed of correctly. Cetronic is a registered hazardous waste company, allowing us to remove old batteries from site, transport them properly and arrange correct disposal and recycling, with a hazardous waste disposal certificate provided as confirmation. This service typically runs alongside a battery replacement project, so old batteries are removed as soon as new ones are commissioned, but it's also available as a standalone service for sites simply looking to clear out old stock responsibly and compliantly.
