Ecopac Power launches the Mean Well LPF-40D series, a 40-watt high efficiency, high IP rating 3 in 1 dimmable Power Supply

The LPF-40D series has up to 89% of high efficiency potted with heat-conducted glue to meet IP67 rating fully enclosed by plastic casing to give 94V-0 fire prevention levels. This allows the internal shock absorption to withstand 5G vibrations and provide protection for the internal electronic components.

With built-in active PFC function and input range of 90 - 305VAC the LPF-40D series not only meets the harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C, they also fulfil PF>0.9 if loading is over 50 - 60%. With cooling by only free air convection they can operate at full load from -40°C to +70°C ambient temperature

The LPF-40D series has the option to adjust the constant current output with either a 1~10Vdc or a 10V PWM signal or resistor, these offer system designers great flexibility for designing applications with energy saving and brightness reduction.

Other standard functions include Class II AC input (without FG) design and protection for short circuit, over voltage, overload and over temperature.

These high efficiency power supplies are very suitable for LED street lighting, LED spotlights, outdoor displays, LED decorative lighting, or any application that needs a solution for a harsh environment with high dust and moisture.

The LPF-40D series complies with global certificates per UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE including UL8750, EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13 of lighting regulations, and meets 3.75KV surge immunity (EN61000-4-5).
