A Fixture is required to secure the Test Piece to the Shaker. The correct choice of vibration fixture is as important as the vibration test itself. Choosing an incorrect vibration fixture could give unnecessary natural frequencies which can cause a premature failure of your equipment. With the aid of modal analysis let Engineering Dynamics design and manufacture your vibration fixture for you. Your fixture can be proof tested on our electromagnetic shaker prior to delivery. Alternatively we can supply working drawings if you prefer to manufacture your own vibration fixture.
