Conventional (through-hole): All boards are loaded by hand, and can be hand or machine soldered depending on quantity.•SMD (surface mount): We pride ourselves on being very adaptable, depending on customer requirements. We have a small SMD placement machine which can be used for any batch size, and is normally used for repeat orders. If we have a paste screen, all batch sizes can be pasted and then either hand-placed or machine-placed, and soldered in our reflow oven. If there is no screen, for example on prototypes, we can hand-place and hand-solder SMD components down to 0402 size on small batches
