Developed initially to be a part of a counting system for items of linen in commercial laundries, our Light Frames can also be used for detecting many other types of individual items of variable or irregular shape.
Micross' light beams are arranged in an interlocking pattern so as to detect objects irrespective of their orientation. For an item to be detected, it must break at least two light beams. This greatly reduces the risk of very small objects such as insects or airborne contamination from triggering false detection. The density of beams permits objects ranging in size from sheets to small cloths or napkins to be detected.
