Micross SetPoint is designed to monitor, record, display and react to the temperatures measured within the CBW (Continuous Batch Washer) or SBW (Single Batch Washer) during the wash processes.
This impressive solution runs remotely from the machine control system by gathering temperature profiles using PT100 or thermocouple expansion thermometers that are independent from the machine's control system. Using this redundancy ensures that there is no interaction between the two systems, which could result in conflict with the washing process, and that the failure of a sensor can be detected in either the monitoring system or the control system. The result of a failure would be 'out of allowable range' or 'spurious values' due to either incorrect values being reported to the system or the process going out of control.
To monitor individual batches of linen, batch classification, customer and weight information can be automatically gathered from the control system delivering the linen to the machine. If this is not practical or feasible other methods of manual data entry are available to get the information into SetPoint.
