Magnet Pure Iron

VACOFER® is the material name of Iron manufactured by means of sintering (powder metallurgically). The high purity of this material results in very low coercitivity field strengths. It is used in applications that require achieving high induction values with low field strength as well as ones that require low residual induction in magnetic circuits with an air gap after the field is switched off.

VACOFER offers distinct advantages for numerous applications due to its purity and lack of pores in a high vacuum. However, the poorer corrosion resistance and low specific electrical resistance, does not make the material appropriate for out use in higher frequency environments.
