Expansion and Melt-In Alloys

Materials with precisely defined heat expansion from our VACON®/ VACOVIT® alloy group are used for temperature measurement, temperature control and compensation of temperature influences as well as for metal-glass and metal-ceramic compounds. The most important applications for Iron-Nickel-Cobalt (FeNiCo) are components for electron tubes and semiconductor applications. VACOVIT® Nickel-Iron (NiFe) and Nickel-Iron-Chromium (NiFeCr) is found in reed switches and in ducts of any kind.
