Spring Alloys

Spring Alloys

Hardenable spring alloys are based on Nickel, Cobalt and Iron. They are characterized by high hardness in combination with other properties. Depending on the requirements these are high conductivity (DURACON 17A®, BERYVAC 520®), high corrosion resistance (NIVAFLEX®), high application temperature (DURATHERM®) or low temperature dependency of the E and G Modules (THERMELAST 4002®). A customer specific alloy is NIVAROX CT®, which is used in highest precision springs in mechanical watches.
