SE Controls sponsored the recent CAB Technical Conference held at the Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon. The conference, entitled ‘Achieving a Sustainable Business Future’ was attended by CAB members and their guests. The conference aimed to offer delegates an update on the broad scope of Sustainability, including which standards are being introduced to cater for this much misunderstood subject.
SE Controls provided one of the stands surrounding the auditorium and were on hand to discuss with delegates the use of natural ventilation via window automation as part of a building’s sustainability strategy.
Opting for an automated natural ventilation strategy can offer huge savings on energy costs whilst improving the working environment. Natural ventilation strategies can include the ability to ‘night purge’ warm stale internal air, with outside colder air during the evening. This air helps to reduce building odours, often associated with moisture in the building fabric and offer a far healthier environment in which to live, learn and work.
