16 Amp 250Vac rated automatic reset thermal cut out suitable for loads of around 3kw (maximum) and is waterproof to IP65 for use in damp environments. Supplied with 300mm wire leads. This thermal cut out is normally closed (NC), meaning that it is normally in the on position. The thermal cut out will open (turn off) on reaching 90 degrees celsius and reset on temperature drop to 70 degrees celsius. This is a 1/2 inch bimetallic thermostat, not to be confused with the higher rated 3/4 inch thermal cut outs more suitable for higher loads typically found in more powerful power showers. Supplied with 6.3mm horizontal quick connect terminals and enclosed in a bakelite body. Complies with RoHS.
