Low Profile Load Cells
Low profile load cells are a type of compression load cells that are ideally suitedfor applications where height is limited. Being of a low profile, these load cells
have a high resistance to offset loads, which is especially useful when used
in industrial weighing applications where true central loading cannot be guaranteed.
Benefits of low profile load cells
* Stainless steel construction
* High resistance to offset loads
* High accuracy
* Versatile
Low profile load cells can be supplied with centrally bored or tapped holes for specialised installations (test rigs etc.) and can also be used for bi-directional measurement. The standard fixing arrangement is via six counter bored holes, often via an optional base plate. This allows the load cells to become an integral part of the structures they are monitoring.
