Cable Harness Case Studies

Case Study 1 This harness has one plastic partially populated connector one end and two leads coming out to a D Type in its metal shell and a Amphenol connector. This harness is used on a tractor to connect a control box to solenoid valves and has to put up with the harsh environment. Case Study 2 A Harting Industrial power connector with a braided cable cover feeds into a earth tag ring terminal and two temperature sensors. Case Study 3 A more simplistic harness, with a standard 3pin XLR connector being used to make a power connection to a standard red-black power lead. This is used in a police car.
