MCP2515 CAN ControllerMCP2515 is a stand-alone Controller Area Network (CAN) controller that is capable of transmitting and receiving both standard and extended data and remote frames. It communicates with MCUs using the industry standard SPI interfaces. The CAN controller comes with two acceptance masks and six acceptance filters to filter out unwanted messages. Hence, it also minimizes the host microcontrollers overhead.MCP2551 CAN TransceiverMCP2551 is a high-speed, fault-tolerant CAN transceiver that serves as an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. Fully compatible with the ISO-11898 standard, it functions at 1 Mb/s speed and provides differential transmit and receive capability for the CAN controller.
