IC/Module: MCP4921 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter The DAC Click Board™ is based on the MCP4921, a single channel 12-bit digital-to-analog converter intended for low-power consumption and high accuracy. Using the SPI protocols for communication, it operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. It includes double-buffered registers and features a resistive string architecture. SMD Jumpers The DAC Click Board™ features two SMD jumpers: PWR SEL and REFERENCE. The zero-ohm PWR SEL jumper enables the user to select between a 3.3V and 5V power supply while the other zero-ohm jumper, REFERENCE, allows user to select either VCC or 4.096V as the voltage reference.
