Illuminance Click Board™
Product Code: MIKROE-1688
IC/Module: TSL2561 Designed to approximate the way human eye responds to light, TSL2561 sensor features a programmable interrupt function with user-defined upper and lower threshold settings. With I2C fast-mode at 400 kHz, it has low active power consumption with power down mode. TSL2561: Light-to-Digital Converter TSL2561 is a light-to-digital converter that converts light received through two photodiodes into a digital signal using two integrating analog-to-digital converters (ADC). This digital output works as input to the microprocessor where illuminance (ambient light level) is derived as a sensor reading, using an empirical formula to approximate the human eye response. I2C Address Selection The Illuminance Click Board™ features a jumper J1 that provide user the option to select between three available I2C addresses. The user can choose an address by changing the jumper position between logic 1 and logic 0. By default, its on logic 1.Visit the Debug Store website for more information on Illuminance Click Board™
