Trizo uses in-line Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to provide fast, consistent and repeatable inspection of PCB assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.

AOI systems use high-resolution cameras and advanced software to inspect component placement, solder joints, polarity, orientation and other assembly characteristics, helping identify potential defects quickly and accurately.

By incorporating AOI directly into our production process, we can detect issues early, reduce the risk of defects progressing further through manufacture and maintain consistent quality across production batches. This is particularly valuable for high-density and complex PCB assemblies where manual inspection alone may not provide the required level of coverage.

AOI forms part of Trizo’s wider inspection and quality process, working alongside other technologies such as X-ray inspection and electrical testing where required. All inspection processes are supported by robust quality controls and production traceability, providing confidence that your PCB assemblies are manufactured to the required specification.
