Emergency Voice Switches

The operator panel shown in the photograph is designated as an EVCS panel. It features a telephone handset and single headset socket, and the integrated panels includes a speaker. However, it can be configured to have the full range of VCS functions and features, or any subset required for a particular system. There is no clear definition of a backup VCS. There can therefore be no satisfactory single solution that will suit all requirements.
