Extender Card Assembly

Extender Card Assembly This is a special assembly created to offer a replacement part for the original VERO Electronics / APW VME Test Extender Board products. The assembly uses fully loaded 96/96 way DIN 41612 connectors and offers controlled electrical characteristics as well as test connector access and incorporates multilayer PCB technology for both the J1 (upper) and J2 (lower) positions, giving guard track protection between the active lines and distributed ground for excellent interference protection and return path performance. The multilayer design also allows for multiple power planes and provides excellent power distribution with minimal power drop along the extender. All tracks are also provided with a jumper pin pair and by removing individual jumpers access to each trace in series for test purposes can be achieved.
