Process details: Enclosure for a combined heat and power unit.
Supply: 3.9m wide x 1.6m long x 2.5m high acoustic enclosure.
Special requirements: Unit required six single leaf access doors, air inlet and outlet baffles for ventilation, numerous apertures complete with seal/gland plates for pipes. The enclosure was painted with a zinc rich epoxy powder primer and an interpon polyester powder topcoat.
Performance: A high level of acoustic performance required so an additional layer of plasterboard was included in the panel construction to increase performance to around 30dB reduction.
