Fluke TLPV2 Solar Clamp Test Lead Set

Measuring operating voltage on a PV array with standard test leads can be difficult. Because the system must remain energized, shutting it down is not an option, and traditional measurement points can be hard to access safely. The TLPV2 changes that.

Technicians can now safely measure operating voltage on live solar strings in-line with the circuit. Using standard test leads and probes requires direct contact which can be difficult and dangerous in live combiner boxes or inverters. Using the TLPV2 set, there is no longer a need to open the combiner box or inverter to perform Voc checks or performance diagnostics as the TLPV2 set gives access points where standard probes are not practical.

Applications:

• TLPV2 can be used to check string operating voltage during peak generation hours without interupting production.
• Pair with the Fluke SMFT-1000 to capture IV curves and valifdate VoC, Isc and Pm
