First-Aid-At Work Requalification Courses

This two-day (12 hours) course is intended for those who hold a First Aid at Work certificate and need to re-qualify to continue to perform the role of first aider in the workplace. It is designed to update first aid procedures and refresh knowledge and skills. The completion of the course will enable the individual to respond to an accident or illness and gain confidence to deal with a potential emergency. A current first aid certificate (or 28 days after expiry) must be held by the candidate and evidence of this will need to be shown to the trainer on the first day of the course. This course complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations of 1981 and also includes defibrillator awareness training
