VARTA Microbattery focuses on well-trained junior staff
14 young people are starting out on their future careers
In VARTA´s 125th anniversary year, 14 trainees are starting out on their future career paths working for the traditional battery manufacturer. That is more trainees than ever before. In this way, VARTA Microbattery is facing up to its social responsibility as one of the region's employers. Nine different training courses are on offer, from industrial mechanics, machine operators and system supervisors, tooling engineers, electronics engineers, industrial engineers, industrial sales representatives and business administrators to IT specialists and business data processing specialists.
A reception was held during which the new trainees were welcomed by Head of HR Thomas Häußler and Head of Training Richard Baumann. Training Managers Erwin Kosik and Willi Wallkum organised the launch event together with acting Chairman of the Works Council Gerlinde Schimmele.
