Siemens Protool HMI Programming and Support
Protool was the software behind a generation of Siemens operator panels. Many of those panels are still mounted on machines across the UK, showing operators the same screens they have used for years.
The challenge is that Protool is long out of date, and finding someone with the software and the skills to edit it is getting harder. When you need a new alarm message, a changed setpoint screen or a fix after a panel failure, that becomes a real problem.
Bubble Automation supports Protool HMI projects. We can back up existing panels, make screen and tag changes, and help diagnose communication faults between the panel and the PLC. Most Protool panels talk to S5 or S7-300 controllers, which we also know well.
We will also give you honest advice on the upgrade path. Moving from Protool to a modern Siemens panel programmed in WinCC within TIA Portal gives you better graphics, better diagnostics and spares that are easy to buy.
Bubble Automation is based in Droxford, Hampshire and works across the UK.
